I was sad to see my parents go on Sunday, but luckily they stuck around long enough to enjoy Sunday brunch at Julian's. After the 30 minute wait in the cold, we rushed into the restaurant and quickly ordered warm drinks. My mom and I both ordered their home made hot chocolate, and here is my adorable mom sipping it:
I gulped it down, whereas my mom had it re-heated so it was piping hot and sipped it slowly. Either way, it was very delicious and sweet and smooth.
Unfortunately, this is where the post has to end. Because after we ordered, my camera died. And then I put in my extra set of batteries that I always carry with me, and those didn't work either. I was very sad.
I promise to go back to Julian's for brunch and give a full pictorial review. I do want to comment, however, that I had my first eggs benedict at Julian's and it was awesome! Perched atop a thick slice of italian bread and served alongside a heap of blue cheese and spinach potato hash- it was the perfect introduction to the world of eggs benedict.
